The weakness of information systems capable of monitoring the quality of care and producing relevant indicators, specifically in the ambulatory sector, was pointed out in the national report on the quality of care. The Federation of Swiss Physicians (FMH) also wants to be able to guarantee the quality of care and emphasizes all the steps taken in this direction.
The research group AISLab of the HES-SO Valais, in collaboration with the Institute and School of La Source, the Observatoire valaisan de la santé, the Réseau Delta Romandie and the company Logival have published an article in the Revue médicale suisse (swiss medical journal) on the use of clinical data from the computerized medical record (DMI) in order to improve ambulatory care.
