In the headlines: Digitization in the health sector is not without its challenges! A new example with the teleconsultation actor, Soignez-moi.ch, confirms it.
After two and a half years of existence, the company has just pulled the plug on its remote consultation offer for June 1st 2022.
Despite a boost from the pandemic (forcing health actors to bet on remote care), the signing of a contract with Assura Assurances in 2021 and the Biel Hospital Center, the Vaud-based start-up does not seem to have managed to confirm its business model
“Soignez-moi” will be maintained until the end of the year. The company has received about CHF 3.8 million from the federal government to operate a registration platform for people wishing to be vaccinated.
However, the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) will only make the platform available to the cantons until the end of the year.
