Digital Health Connect, the major event for healthcare and digital actors, organized by Swiss Digital Health in partnership with the Ark Foundation and the HES-SO Valais/Wallis, invites you to take part in its 9th edition, on October 27, 2021, to discover the opportunities and challenges of “remote health”. In Valais, the crusade against diabetes will involve smartphones. Indeed, the canton is deploying a new weapon in the fight against diabetes. In mid-September, it will launch DiabApp, a mobile application designed to support the 10,000 people diagnosed in the region. This initiative is part of the Action Diabète project, led by the Valais Diabetes Association and the Diabetes gesellschaft oberwallis.
Psyche-related telemedicine is one of the big winners in the Covid-19 crisis. More and more start-ups are active in telemedicine and are gradually extending their offers to online consultations with psychiatrists and psychologists. Teleconsultations are becoming more and more frequent. This is mainly due to the pandemic situation.
